Nelson
figurine added to collection
Probably
the finest and certainly the most historically accurate figurine of Nelson
ever commissioned will be available from Remember Nelson shortly. Sculpted
by Bob Russell in his Hampshire studios, 'Nelson' is more than 15 inches
tall and is modelled on the famous Abbott painting - although it corrects
a number of inaccuracies in the painting.
'Nelson'
will be issued in a strictly limited edition of 200 worldwide and will
be followed by a companion piece, 'Emma'. For more information about these
figurines or to make a no-obligation reservation, please email nelson@remembernelson.com

First
Nelson Fabric since 1806
Remember
Nelson is proud to announce that we have commissioned what is probably
the first Nelson fabric to have been produced since 1806. Manufactured
in Belgium from original designs by David Williams, the fabric will be
used to upholster a range of furniture, including cushions - and possibly
headscarves, ties etc.

Nelson's
debt repaid after 200 years
When Nelson visited
Chamberlain's porcelain factory in Worcester in 1802, accompanied by Emma,
Lady Hamilton, they ordered a number of dinner services. Sadly, Nelson
was killed at Trafalgar before the bill for one of the services was paid
and the debt has been outstanding ever since.
Chamberlain's ultimately
became part of Royal Worcester and at the official launch of Remember
Nelson at St Paul's Cathedral this evening, James Boddy the founder and
Chairman of Remember Nelson Limited handed over a cheque to Royal Worcester
to clear the long-outstanding debt - with 200 years' interest added!
